YSF2009 for youths and college students in the age group of 17 to 21.
Focal Theme : Nature, Science and Society
Areas of Projects:
1) Popularization of Science
2) Removal of Superstition
3) Preservation of Environment
4) Growth and development
5) Health and Sanitation
6) Education
7) Women Empowerment
8) Using Technology
Project Team:
* 2 to 4 person can form a team.
* Each team will be assisted by a guide who may be a teacher or Social activist.
* Project report can be presented either in English or in Tamil
Objective:
Involving College students and the youth to exhibit their creativity & innovativeness and more particularly their ability to relate science to society & the addressing various problems of society. Features of YSF Projects:
1) Innovative, simple and practical
2) Based on exploration of everyday life-situations
3) Involving field based data collection
4) Definite output thro' Scientific medhodolgy

Dates to Remember:
* SENT Tentative title with the abstract of the propose work
* Completed projects with the final title, abstract, objectives,details of methodology employed, results & discussion, future plans and references
* Researchers of selected projects will be intimated by the last week of Sep.2009
* Project presentation on JAN.9th & 10th 2009 at Kongu Arts & Science College (KASC) ( Host of the YSF), Nanjanapuram, Erode,-638107
All particpants of YSF2009 will be appreciated with certificates

Registration fee:
Registration fee is Rs.100 for each project. DD shall be drawn in favour of " Tamil Nadu Science Forum " payable at Erode.
